Stephen Biro you sly bastard.
So the Texas Frightmare event, in which Biro hosted a very special midnight screening, turned out to contain more surprises than even the original Facebook post about it, would have lead you to believe. Many of the folks who read through the announcement figured this was going to be the first real premiere of the director's recent entry into the American Guinea Pig series, The Song of Solomon.
Instead, we jump even further ahead in the series chronology and get the very special, very shocking FOURTH installment instead. It's already tough watching Guinea Pig films when you're prepared for them...so I can only imagine the impact something like Poison Rouge's 'Sacrifice' would have on unsuspecting audiences. Perhaps a walk-out or two? Heh. Not bad for a directorial debut, and quite the honor to watch your film -which started as inspired homage - become a part of underground-horror legend.
So there you have it, a new series entry before the new series entry is released! You can check out stills from the film at the link on the bottom of this page.
