CHOPPING MALL (1986)

I have a sub genre term I created with a buddy of mine... We call it "Comfort Horror". It doesn't have a thought provoking narrative, it doesn't have multi layered or hidden meanings, and it definitely won't be found sitting at the top of any cinema snob's top movie lists.

It's a film not matter what your mood, you can throw it on, wrap yourself in it's feel good blanket, and know you are going to be thoroughly entertained.

A few personal examples of films like these for me: They Live, TerrorVision, Night of the Comet, and Night of the Demons.

I can happily say, after seeing Chopping Mall for the long overdue 1st time tonight... It's made that special list.
