JEREMIAH'S PICK - 'BEYOND THE DARKNESS'
1979 - Joe D'Amato - 1H 34MIN
"Boy gets girl, boy loses girl, boy finds comfort at the suckle of his housekeeper's bosom...boy exhumes girl, boy dresses girl and keeps her as a dead human doll, boy oh boy oh boy. Beyond the Darkness is Italian-horror-flavored mania, and outside some pacing issues and bizarre melodic missteps by Goblin, is a fine sub-genre specimen worthy of your time."
Grief-struck after the death of his wife, a young man attempts to keep her with him forever - by gutting her, stuffing her and replacing her eyes with glass eyes, turning her into a doll. But his bouts of insanity are just beginning.

JASMINE'S PICK - 'THE EDITOR'
2014 - Adam Brooks and Matthew Kennedy - 1H 35MIN
"Probably one the best Giallo I've seen. For those who know me, I have a really hard time with Giallo, but this was actually fun because it made fun of all of the shit I hate and made it so much better. I know it's a homage and I think it does it really well. Its fun. The music and effects are absolutely brilliant, and some shots are stunning with the lighting and motions and what not. Enjoyed this."
