Nothing like an encounter with some of nature's more physically dominating, visually intimidating animals to feel truly humbled, to be instantly reminded where we stand on the food chain. Very few (none?) more fitting of that description, than the king of the jungle.

And in David Melini's upcoming horror-thriller, will be the source of fear for an unfortunately dysfunctional family holed up in an isolated chalet. They'll have to put aside and overcome personal battles and demons in order to survive an even bigger threat. Here's the official synopsis below:
An isolated chalet in a snowy forest... A man blinded by alcohol... A woman unable to rebel... And an 8-year-old child troubled and dark... The silent night is broken with cries... the start of a terrible nightmare!
It's a little light on details, but we prefer it that way honestly. Far too many films give away far too much of their story that you see every "surprise" coming a mile away, so it's a bit refreshing to be kept more in the dark than not. Besides, even if at it's worst this turns out to be another "Roar", we'll at the very least be entertained. Look for more details regarding a firm date for the film's release as we approach October.
