THE DEVIL'S DOLLS - TRAILER AND POSTER ART

Formerly "Worry Dolls" will see it's official VOD and limited theatrical release this September, on the 16th via IFC Midnight.

In the aftermath of the hunt for notorious serial killer, Henry Leonard Bale, a peaceful town erupts in a chain of random, brutal murders. What Detective Matt Williams discovers is as unbelievable as it is undeniable – These killings all stem from an ancient set of Worry Dolls that was gifted to Bale when he was a boy. Now, with his young daughter's life hanging in the balance, Matt is pitted against the clock to find the dolls and break their curse.

DAVIDE MELINI'S 'LION' PROMISES TO GO FOR THE JUGULAR

Nothing like an encounter with some of nature's more physically dominating, visually intimidating animals to feel truly humbled, to be instantly reminded where we stand on the food chain. Very few (none?) more fitting of that description, than the king of the jungle.

 The face of...fear?

The face of...fear?

No, not that king of the jungle, this one -

And in David Melini's upcoming horror-thriller, will be the source of fear for an unfortunately dysfunctional family holed up in an isolated chalet. They'll have to put aside and overcome personal battles and demons in order to survive an even bigger threat. Here's the official synopsis below:

An isolated chalet in a snowy forest... A man blinded by alcohol... A woman unable to rebel... And an 8-year-old child troubled and dark... The silent night is broken with cries... the start of a terrible nightmare!

It's a little light on details, but we prefer it that way honestly. Far too many films give away far too much of their story that you see every "surprise" coming a mile away, so it's a bit refreshing to be kept more in the dark than not. Besides, even if at it's worst this turns out to be another "Roar", we'll at the very least be entertained. Look for more details regarding a firm date for the film's release as we approach October. In the meantime, check out the stills and teaser trailer below.

NEW TEASER CLIP FROM 'THE MIND'S EYE'

As if the wait for this frickin' movie couldn't get any harder, here's blue balls in the form of a bad-ass new clip from one of our most anticipated horror films this year.

Until then, stare at the screen cap below and just imagine that being a visual representation of our collective anticipation - we know when it drops, it'll be worth it - but damn the wait.

BED OF THE DEAD - PREMIERING AT FANTASIA FILM FESTIVAL (TRAILER)

Those of you lucky enough to be attending the Fantasia Film Festival, will be happy to hear that Jeff Maher's "Bed of the Dead" (co-written by Cody Callahan) will have its premier showing there. Weirdest horror villain since the lovable telepathic tire appeared in 2010's "Rubber"! Can't wait for impressions (I'm sure the bed itself can't either....bahahaha *cough*)

Four twentysomethings find themselves stuck on a haunted antique bed where leaving means suffering a gruesome death. Plagued with frightening hallucinations, they must figure out the bed's secrets before they are ultimately picked off one by one.
