We've seen thrillers about people trapped in a coffin, people trapped in a phone booth, people stuck in a hole, some stuck in a booby-trapped cube, but none I can remember ever having been trapped in a warehouse cargo shipping container. But that's what we got here; an oddly well lit cargo container (that gets decent cell reception), containing a man who's being extorted for no less than 10 million smackaroos. Details on the film are a bit scarce, so for now, all we have is this trailer, check it out below.
[CARGO] is still in post-production last I heard, but should be available sometime late this year or early next. I'm curious myself how this guy both 1) Got himself into this mess and 2) Gets himself out.
[Cargo] features an original soundtrack by Tangerine Dream's Thorsten Quaeschning and stars actor Ron Thompson from the films American Pop, The White Buffalo, American Me and the TV series Baretta. The soundtrack will be released by Invisible Hands Music. The novelization by the film's producer J.C. Maçek III will be published by Bloodhound Books in January 2018.
