[TRAILER] 'NEFARIOUS’ - ASH MOUNTAIN FILMS' LATEST IS A VISUALLY STRIKING HOME INVASION THRILLER

Finally. Our first real look at the anticipated thriller, NEFARIOUS; a home invasion film from the folks that brought us Dogged. Their latest seemingly following in the same footsteps of that small-town horror with regards to the unsettling and nerve-racking nature of its premise, yet sporting a visual style that's wholely it's own. To that, the grimy neon fused aesthetic and harsh lighting reminds me quite a bit of Danny Boyle's early work (especially what's seen with 28 Days Later) splashed liberally with Refn's color acuity; a good thing indeed.

We absolutely cannot wait to get our filthy little mitts on it.

Darren, Lou, Jo and Mas live a meagre existence on the fringes of poverty. Indebted to the criminal kingpin of their social housing development, they routinely fear for their lives. On the other side of town, the already wealthy Marcus and his mentally handicapped brother Clive receive a windfall in the form of a winning lottery ticket.
