Destroy All Monsters
Starring Akira Kubo, Jun Tazaki, Yoshio Tsuchiya, Kyoko Ai, Kenji Sahara

The big payoff didn't land as well as I'd hoped. When King Ghidorah made it's entrance into the battlefield, I was stoked - but the battle royal was mainly relegated to everyone standing around the three headed dragon, and either getting some goofy looking licks in or, not (son of Godzilla's poof ring attack was especially hilarious). Anyway, the rest of Destroy All Monsters was hammy, hokey fun. Gorgeous alien-lady Invaders, flying rocket battles, toy tanks, the destruction of cities across the globe - and of course - tons of useless bureaucratic strategy round off an enjoyable if slightly underinflated (given the scope) kaiju romp.
