A mood killer. Henry: PoaSK is unrelentingly bleak, disgustingly decadent, and hopelessly mean spirited. Made all the more potent thanks to Michael Rooker's phenomenal performance. Basically as perfect a film about a serial killer as you could ask for. Required viewing for anyone even remotely interested in cinematic "dissections" like these.
Bleak and filthy. One of the most pungent films to explore all the complex puzzle pieces that construct a serial killer.
